At a glance: PoseNap is a self-experiment tool for testing pillows and sleep posture. It is not a medical device. Your first 4 completed tests are free; PoseNap Pro subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them with Apple, and the Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment. Everything the app measures stays on your iPhone.
1. Using PoseNap
By using PoseNap you agree to these terms. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. What PoseNap is and is not
PoseNap measures sleep posture with your iPhone camera and microphone and offers pillow and comfort suggestions for personal self-experiments. PoseNap is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, including sleep apnea, and its measurements have not been clinically validated. Suggestions in the app — including a suggestion to talk to a doctor — are general information, not medical advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with questions about a medical condition.
3. Free tests
PoseNap includes 4 free completed tests in total, shared between Pillow Fit Checks and Nap Tests. A test counts when it finishes and is saved. Cancelled, failed, or unsaved attempts do not count, and deleting a saved test does not restore a free test. The sample report is always free. We may change the size of the free allowance for new users in the future; tests you have already used are not affected retroactively.
4. PoseNap Pro: subscriptions and lifetime
PoseNap Pro unlocks unlimited tests, pillow comparisons and trends, and data export. It is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, and a one-time Lifetime purchase. The price shown in the app comes from the App Store for your country or region and may change; any change follows Apple's rules and notice requirements.
Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the then-current price.
Free trial: If a free trial is offered (currently on the yearly plan), it converts to a paid subscription automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Unused trial time is forfeited if you buy another plan, as handled by Apple.
Cancelling: You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the plan stays active until the end of the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Lifetime: The Lifetime purchase is a single payment for ongoing access to PoseNap Pro features in the app. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
Refunds: Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
5. Purchases are processed by Apple
All payments are made through your Apple Account under Apple's terms. We do not receive or store your payment details. Your use of the App Store is governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
6. Acceptable use
Use PoseNap only for its intended personal purpose and in compliance with applicable law. Do not attempt to bypass the free-test allowance or purchase checks, reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it despite this term, or use the app in a way that infringes the rights of others.
7. Your data
PoseNap processes camera frames and audio on your iPhone and stores records only in the app, as described in our privacy policy. Your records belong to you. If you export or share data, you are responsible for the copies you create.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, text, and software are owned by the developer and protected by applicable law. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the app without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Measurement results depend on lighting, bedding, clothing, and phone placement and are provided for personal information only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the app is limited to the amounts you paid for PoseNap Pro in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these terms; the current version will always be on this page with its effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this website.
