Sleep on it.
Measure it.

A sleep posture lab in your iPhone. Point the camera at your bed, take a guided Fit Check or a real nap, and wake to numbers: time on your back and each side, turns, neck position, and snoring minutes — plus one clear next step for your pillow.

One nap is all it takes to profile a pillow.

Guided by voice, start to finish

Set up. Lie down.
Wake to a report.

01 / SET UP

Put the phone beside the bed.

Prop your iPhone where it can see your head, shoulders, and hips, and plug it in. A 30-second calibration walks you through three poses while voice prompts tell you exactly which way to face — no need to watch the screen.

02 / MEASURE

Check in minutes, or nap for real.

The Pillow Fit Check measures one position at a time while you are awake. The Nap Test runs 30, 60, or 90 minutes while you actually sleep. The app confirms by voice when it can see you, and tells you if it loses sight of you.

03 / REVIEW

See the nap in numbers.

Wake to a report: posture shares, turns, neck position in each posture, and snoring minutes, ending in one next step for your pillow. Run the same test on another pillow and compare the two in History.

Two ways to test a pillow

A quick check.
Or a real nap.

PoseNap is a self-experiment tool. Both tests use only your iPhone — no wearable, no account, nothing extra to charge.

Pillow Fit Check

  • Awake and guided, a few minutes per position: back, left side, and right side, one at a time.
  • A five-part spine line — head, shoulders, waist, low back, and hips — with chin position as the headline reading.
  • Recognizes common do-it-yourself padding under the head when you lie on your back.
  • Ends with one next step: keep the pillow, pad it, lower it, raise it, or swap it.

Nap Test

  • A real 30, 60, or 90-minute nap, timed and voice-guided. Drift off and the test keeps running.
  • Posture timeline and turn count, neck position in each posture, and snoring minutes, with short sound clips you can play back.
  • A short morning check-in — how rested you feel, how stiff your neck and shoulders are — saved with the report.
  • Name each pillow and compare pillows across nights in History.

Your night, on your device

Numbers, not video.
Kept close.

PoseNap reads camera frames on your iPhone and discards them — video is never recorded, saved, or uploaded, and all analysis runs on your device. What the app keeps is numbers: posture timelines, measurements, and skeleton coordinates for its replay view, plus short sound clips from Nap Tests. Everything stays in the app until you export or delete it.
